Lynn Hutchins Haney - Fine Artist

Figurative work, portraits, historical art, and florals are my focus. I mainly use charcoal or graphite pencil on paper (for drawings) and oil on canvas (for paintings). All my art is rendered freehand (no computer or projector aid).

My work has been exhibited in juried, solo, and group shows in North Carolina, as well as being held in private collections throughout the U.S. During 1994-1995 and 1998-2000 I founded an art center in a downtown building (where I also had my studio), leased out studio space to artists, and held exhibits for regional artists.

I did not begin drawing until college. I hold a B.A. in studio art from Wake Forest University, NC; I also completed several post-baccalaureate and graduate-level courses.
